Advisory on Senior High School Curriculum Transition (SY 2026–2027)
In line with DepEd Memorandum No. 12, s. 2026, CLDHEI will implement the strengthened Senior High School (SHS) curriculum beginning School Year 2026–2027. Incoming Grade 11 students will follow the new curriculum framework, which replaces the old strand-based system with broader learning clusters. Meanwhile, Grade 12 students for SY 2026–2027 will continue under the original SHS curriculum to ensure continuity until graduation.
This dual system will be in place for one school year, after which all SHS students will transition fully to the strengthened curriculum. CLDHEI is committed to supporting both Grade 11 and Grade 12 learners during this transition and will provide guidance to ensure a smooth adjustment for students and parents alike.

N O T I C E
The Department of Education (DepEd) is introducing a strengthened curriculum to better prepare students for either college or immediate employment after senior high school. It is designed to be more focused, flexible, and practical. The ABM, HUMSS, and STEM strands in the academic track will be phased out. Subjects will instead be re-grouped in more flexible elective “clusters” called (a) Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); (b) Business and Entrepreneurship; and (c) Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
The strengthened SHS curriculum is still being piloted in selected schools this coming SY 2026-2027. The full, nationwide implementation for all senior high school students will be announced later. Meanwhile, non-pilot schools will be using the original SHS curriculum. For CLDHEI, the ABM, HUMSS, and STEM strands of the Academic Track will remain in place.
For the Future Healthcare Hero. Why just study healthcare when you can live it? Our undergraduate and graduate programs are designed to immerse students in the medical field from day one. With a curriculum that balances cutting-edge theory with hands-on clinical practice, our graduates consistently perform at the top of their licensure examinations.
