CANCERVIVE and Pumping Passion Seminars
Fourth year BS Nursing students organized “CANCERVIVE: Educating Oncology Nurses of the Future with their Roles and Responsibilities”, a seminar held on January 12, 2024 at the CLDHEI Gymnasium, featuring Mr. Godwin Keith Garcia, RN, MSN as the guest speaker.
On January 9, 2024 another group of fourth year BS Nursing students initiated “Pumping Passion: An Update on Nursing Interventions in Clients with Cardiovascular Disorders”, having Mr. Escotie Pippen Reyes, RN, an alumnus of CLDHEI, as the guest speaker.
CANCERVIVE aim to educate aspiring oncology nurses on the latest developments, unique responsibilities, and challenges in this specialized area of healthcare. Pumping Passion, on the other hand, was about the specific actions and strategies students must learn to implement to help patients with various heart and blood vessel conditions.
